Deck Construction: Rescue the Hero

Today I'm going to build a deck I've been thinking about for quite a while. Rescue Rabbit is a very powerful card. Its one is an automatic +1 on the field and sets you up for big Xyz plays. Rescue Rabbit has been a huge part of the game since its release, being used with Dinosaurs to make the Evolzar monsters. Aside from that, it can be used in any deck using Normal Monsters.

After trying out the Noble Rabbit deck, using Rabbit to Special Summon Noble Knight Artorigus to make Heroic Champion - Excalibur, Blade Armor Ninja, and setting up plays with Number 16: Shock Master; I started to think of other ways to use this amazing effect. When you think about a deck that has many different Vanilla Monsters, what's the first thing that comes to mind? If you said Elemental Heroes, this deck may be for you!

Why E-Heroes? Aside from being Warriors, capable of making Blade Armor Ninja and Excalibur, they're also available in different levels, enabling easy Rank 3 Xyz as well. Another reason to use Heroes is what they're known best for; Fusion. With the recent release of Elemental HERO Escuridao, we now have a Fusion for each attribute. E-Heroes also have two of the most powerful Special Summon Spell Cards in the game; Miracle Fusion and Super Polymerization. These cards let you summon big monsters by using spent monsters from your Graveyard, and even from your opponent's side of the field.

Let's begin with the Vanillas
Sparkman is an obvious chioce. He has the most ATK out of the Normal E-Heroes and he is Light, giving easy access to the powerhouse The Shining. Burstinatrix is my next pick because she is a Lv 3 monsters and Nova Master is more useful than Gaia or Great Tornado. Kabazauls is there because a Water monster is needed for Absolute Zero, and i provides access to Laggia and Dolkka. Next are the support monsters
Rescue Rabbit is the center of the deck, and Tour Guide is his best friend. Even though Sangan is no longer around, Tour Guide makes an easy Leviair, letting us use Rescue Rabbit again. Night Assailant is an optional card used as an extra TGU target and Dark monster. Black Luster Soldier brings some needed power to the main deck, being live after using Rabbit for Sparkman and using Tour Guide.
The Spells are pretty standard for this type of deck. You've got the staples, Duality to speed things up, Lance to force through your big plays, and 4 Fusion cards to make those big plays. The rest of the deck is loaded with traps to add a control element, letting you keep your opponent at bay while you set up your moves.

Here we have a basic trap line up, along with 3 Dimensional Prison and Fiendish Chain. Fiendish Chain is a very good card, especially this format with Mermails and Fire Fists being so popular.
The Extra Deck is set up to get the most out of your cards. There is a small line up of powerful Rank 3 and 4 Xyz monsters along with Gaia and Escuridao. Nova Master, Absolute Zero, and The Shining are included at 2 each because they have a bit more utility than other HERO Fusions, and because there are more Water, Light, and Fire monsters in the deck.

This deck plays very much like Dino Rabbit. You'll be controlling the game with your traps and poking the opponent with your drawn vanillas until you can make a big play with Rabbit. The difference, however, is even if your opponent stops your Xyz monster, you still have Miracle Fusion to back you up.

Feel free to try the deck yourself and comment on your results.
